Unable to use sound file

Hello everybody,

I have been using wave audio files for months with no problem, copying the same audiofeedback files from one experiment to another. Now, for any reason (upgrade of OS to latest version ?) it does not work any more. The error message is attached.

Hi Gerard,

Thanks for reporting this. Could you try different wave files, and files of other audio formats? Just to make sure this is really a bug and not some faulty wave file or something.

Which version are you using? Can you also upload your experiment?

Hi Eduard,

The wave files are OK and they work fine in many other experiments. But it happens that they are correctly loaded when I use the psycho_legacy background and not when I use the psycho background, which is so far my usual background in experiments. Note that this problem is very specific to this particular experiment and that other experiments that use psycho continue to work fine with those wave files.

So I will change the background for this experiment and it solves the problem in practice. If you want to investigate the origin of the problem, I am happy to make other tests if it is important for you.
