Prior in Bayesian repeated measures ANOVA
Hello,
I am looking for help with updating priors for a second experiment on the basis of a first one.
I have run an Experiment 1 in which I estimated the effect of reward in an inhibition task. In the first experiment the factor of interest (value/reward) was a between-subject factor.
I wanted to replicate this in a within-subject design, which we have done in a second experiment. I would like to update the priors of the second experiment using the data from the first.
I guess I cannot use the Ly method in this case due to the different designs?
How can I do this? I could not find any guide for using a repeated ANOVA. Can you help?
Warm regards,
Janina

Hi Janina,
This is a tricky one! Right now I don't think this can be done in JASP, since the parameter priors for ANOVA are all centered on zero. However, perhaps it is possible to consider a t-test reformulation of the main idea?
Cheers,
E.J.
