Subject IDs
If anyone can help, I'm just trying to add a subject ID to the beginning of my OS Web experiment but I'm having a lot of trouble. I've tried a few different approaches, but does anyone have a simple way of doing this? Thank you in advance, I'd appreciate any help

What exactly are you trying to do? I mean, every experiment starts with the subject ID input field, which is then automatically logged to the subject_nr variable. Is that not what you need?

This is for a web experiment using Jatos (maybe OSWeb is the wrong message board), but ultimately I'd like for participants to enter their subject IDs before beginning the experiment so our predetermined IDs are associated with their data. When we send participants a link through Jatos, they aren't asked for their ID so I'm trying to figure out a way of either coding it in, making it a survey question and integrating that with the OpenSesame experiment on Jatos, or using OpenSesame's GUI tools. Ah, I see. This is indeed more Jatos question I think. I'll move the discussion. @kri Is there a way to use the Jatos subject ID inside of Opesensame scripts?
