Opensesame - Chronos - Brain products - Markers
We have recently bought a activecham 64 channel brain products EEG system. From the stimulus presentation system a USB cable runs and connect to Chronos response box. Chronos connects to amplifier via a trigger box. I assume parallel to serial conversion happens here and those markers are sent to EEG recorder. Our issues are listed below:
- SRbox plugin doesn't autodetect chronos.Device manager shows only a COM1 port. Chronos is listed under a new section called research devices! I tried multiple device names and chronos is not getting accepted to opensesame
- Wherever we try to ditch non open source presentation tools, we have this issue of trigger box. Computer has serial ports and trigger cable that goes to amplifier is typically a parallel port.
- I will contact PST to ask if they provide any inline solutions. I tried some of troubleshooting mentioned in the forum
- It would be useful if there is a video tutorial on setting up triggers. Documentation is pretty good and thanks for that. As a wish list please consider the request to have a video tutorial
