R-Squared Table Mediation Analysis JASP

Hi!

I'm a grad student doing a final project in my degree and having trouble with the statistics part.

My research has three variables: parental self-efficacy as a predictor, sharenting as an outcome, and motives of sharenting as a mediation.

however, I'm having trouble understanding the R-squared table from JASP analysis. can anyone help me to understand how to interpret this table?

Thank you a lot!

Maya

notes:

TOTAL SKOR SH = Sharenting and TOTAL SKOR IM = motives of sharenting

  • Hi Maya,

Could you be a bit more precise? R2 is the general measure for proportion of variance explained -- what exactly is unexpected?

    Cheers,
