Bayesian repeated measures MANOVA - any option?

Hi all,

I will need to perform a 3 by 2 by 2 Bayesian repeated measures MANOVA. There is no option for this in JASP, and an earlier post about this received the recommendation to change the design to something simpler. Unfortunately, I cannot change the design and I will have to stick to this analysis. My question: Is there any way to perform a Bayesian repeated measures MANOVA? Maybe an R package that could be helpful? I am a complete beginner, unfortunately.

Alternatively, would it be an option to instead perform two separate Bayesian repeated measures ANOVAs, each for one of my dependent variables? I see that the Bayesian RM ANOVA is already implemented in JASP, so I am wondering whether this would be a suitable alternative.

Thank you so much for any help in advance!

  • Hi Mariamr,

Yes, I think that two separate ANOVAs are an acceptable alternative solution.

    Cheers,
