Accessing an external directory (jsPsych other libraries)
Hey,
Iam just getting started with JATOS and I was wondering, whether it is possible to have a directory for jsPsych and other libraries that can be accessed by all your studies? Because right now I have to create a copy of jsPsych (and every other library I use) in each of my studies, which leads to a lot of redundant copies of said directories.
Thanks a lot

Hi Skywoo,
Sorry for taking some time to answer, it's a challenging time over here. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a folder for common files. But this is also a design choice. A study should independent of external resources (e.g. from the common folder). If you export a study and import it into another JATOS everything should be transferred. Luckily libraries are usually very small and don't take to much disk space. Another thing is with videos, audios, or images: if they are used by several studies it might be worth to load them from a different source than JATOS. This can be a server for static files (like Apache) on the same server as JATOS or any other web service that delivers static files like Google Drive or Dropbox - or more professionally AWS' S3 and the like.
Best,
Kristian
