Problems with the Answer format

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with OS. I want to create an answering screen where all answering options are visible for the whole time before the participant is answering. Thus the duration of the answering sketchpad has to be set to "keypress". The problem is however, that the participant has to press the same key two times in order for OS to continue to the next run.

My question is: Can i get around this problem without limiting the time the participant can inspect / see etc. the answering options?

And if not: Is there a good way around this problem because it might be a little bit unpleasant for the participant if he has to double press the key every time he wants to give an answer.

Hi @marcoduerr ,

Isn't it simply a matter of setting the duration of the sketchpad to 0? If you make the sketchpad being followed immediately by a keyboard_response item, it will stay on screen until the participant presses a key, which sounds like exactly what you want. Could you try that?
