Editing in a spreadsheet - how to use default? (and t-tests)
I set my default spreadsheet editor as Excel. When I double-click on the data on an imported .sav file, it goes to PSPP. When I double-click on the data on a JASP file, it goes to Wizard. How do I get it to go to Excel "no matter what" - and does it preserve variable labels when we do that?
Also, with t-tests... SPSS (and PSPP) let you pick two categories from any category variable... will JASP ever do the same, instead of insisting on a dichot. variable?
I'm planning to use JASP for teaching because SPSS and PSPP give too many install headaches (and they say JASP is much easier to use, so they can focus on why they're doing what they're doing, instead of how to do it).

Hello Davez,
I believe that for both of these questions you are better off posting them on the JASP GitHub page, as you will have direct access to our programming team.
About the spreadsheet: I suspect that you have linked a particular file type to PSPP instead of to Excel (but the programming team can really help you here).
About the t-tests: you could accomplish this by using the filter; I see that this is extra work, so we can consider adding this if it does not complicate the interface too much. In other words: a good feature request for our GitHub page!
Cheers,
E.J.
