Is it possible to ask the participant to provide a string response in OpenSesame experiments? Would this be via the keyboard response tool if it is possible?

Hi,

Multi-character response (that's what you mean right?) can be implemented with the text input form: See here for the documentation: https://osdoc.cogsci.nl/3.3/manual/forms/widgets/#text_input-textinput

You can just drag a text_input item to the sequence and you should get what you want.
