Running OpenSesame on Rapsberry Pi 400, need help on using and installing a plug-in.

Hello,

I am running a neuroscience-based experiment on OpenSesame on a Raspberry Pi 400 platform. I need to send triggers to an EEG board (OpenBCI) and I found a plug-in for this on the OpenSesame documentation website - (https://osdoc.cogsci.nl/3.3/manual/devices/parallel/#using-the-parallel_port_trigger-plugin). As per the documentation for this plug-in, it seems like exactly what I require. However, the usage documentation for the plug-in for Linux that the RPi runs on, is slightly obscure and I am not able to figure out how this needs to be approached. Currently, I have installed the .zip file for this from GitHub. Firstly, since I am running Linux, I attempted to enable the parallel ports on the terminal as per the documentation and this gives an error. What are the steps to be followed while running this plug-in? Will appreciate any and all assistance on this.

Thank you,
