'zero' in betweeness and CS coefficient (network analysis)
Hello! I m doing my first network analysis and i have several questions.
When I ran cor as my estimator, I
got zero for all my nodes in betweeness. How to explain this?
My second question, can JASP run for cs coefficient?
Thank you!

Hi Kayan,
betweenness = 0 is pretty typical for correlation networks, it means that all shortest paths between nodes are the direct edges between the nodes, meaning that no nodes lie on the shortest path. Note that we don't recommend correlation networks, see also the materials at http://psychosystems.org/NetworkSchool. I am not sure if Jasp includes the CS-coefficient.
Thank you, Sacha. You are so helpful.
Hi Kayan,
The CS coefficients are not included in JASP yet (this is on the to-do list for the near future). However, if you want to assess the stability of your centrality measures, you can also look at the Centrality stability plot when you select case-dropping bootstrap. I hope that helps!
Best,
Jill
Thank you Jill.
