Choosing control group in Dunnet post hoc analysis

I would like to ask regarding Dunnet Post hoc in JASP software. How can we select the “control group” in Dunnet post hoc analysis? Because it automatically chooses the “control group” in my analysis.

  • Hi Malikosaka,

    That analysis takes the first level as the control group. You can change this order by going to the data view (the left most panel in JASP, where you see your data and variable columns. Then, you click on the name of your factor variable; this opens a menu at the top, where you see all levels of your factor. By clicking on of the levels, and then clicking the up and down arrows, you can change the order of these levels and therefore change which factor level is first/chosen as control group. See the screenshot below for how the menu looks.
