VISUAL SKETCH-PAD USED FOR “THOUGHT PROBE” INSTRUCTION NOT BEING DISPLAYED
QUERY ON ExpT:2_1, MODIFICATION OF SELI’S ON THE CLOCK PARADIGM FOR STUDYING CHANGES IN RATES OF MIND-WANDERING
1. VISUAL SKETCH-PAD USED FOR “THOUGHT PROBE” INSTRUCTION NOT BEING DISPLAYED :
a. In Seli’s on the clock paradigm(2018) , the CLOCK-FACE SHOULD ALWAYS BE VISIBLE ON THE SCREEN , EVEN WHEN THOUGHT PROBE QUESTIONNAIRE IS BEING SHOWN. To implement this I included the question in a text box which I displayed above the clock face (copied from the preceding clock position sketch-pad). For some unknown reason the resultant sketch-pad including the thought probe question, along with the clockface is Not being displayed (even when “runif” condition is set as “always”). That thought probe + (and) clock-face sketch-pad is followed by a key-board response item which accepts 3 (option) numbers : 1, 2, 3
2. ACCURATELY CONTROL TIME FOR KEYBOARD RESPONSE GIVEN PRECEDING SKETCH-PAD DISPLAY : Probably, the time of exposure of visual sketch-pad , is serially followed by time for user generated keyboard response. However, how do I ensure that the keyboard response time window starts immediately after the sketch-pad item appears . e.g. If the clock-face is displayed for (1000 ms) AND THEN, SUBSEQUENTLY (SERIAL, NO OVERLAP OF TIMES OF EXPOSURE), the keyboard response is implemented for (500 msec), Then THE TOTAL TIME OF EXPOSURE OF THE CLOCK-FACE SKETCH-PAD AND KEYBOARD RESPONSE WILL BE (Serially Added: 1000 ms+ 500 ms=1500 ms). However I NEED THE KEYBOARD RESPONSE TO BE ACTIVATED FOR 500ms , immediately after the Clock-Face is shown (i.e. The relevant clock face position, i.e. the clock face at 12 O’ clock), for which the first 500 ms of display of the clock-face sketch-pad and the 500 ms of keyboard-response should overlap
VISUAL ILLUSTRATION :
1. Time of exposure Serially added
sketch-pad(1000 ms)_________ , + Keyboard response(500ms)_____
Sketch-pad(500 ms) _____+ _____(500 ms)= Total Time (1000ms)
KeyBoard Response(overlap Parallel 500 ms) _____
PLEASE HELP, & GUIDE HOW THE ABOVE 2 GOALS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED IN OPEN SESAME CODE

Hi,
without some code examples, I have a really hard time to wrap my head around what your problem is and what you are trying to do precisely. Please try to provide a bit clearer problem description, e.g. upload your experiment, add some screenshots of what you want to see and what you actually see, etc.
Hope this helps,
Eduard
