suggestion: Jasp wizard

edited November 2021 in JASP & BayesFactor

I am a newbie in the statistics field, but I needed to study to apply in my research. What I noticed was that (1) there is a common path of questions made to choose the correct test and this path is done always in every check. Besides, (2) there is a feeling that Jasp wants to be responsive and easy to use.

So, as a suggestion, Jasp could have a wizard to guide those scientists that are not statistics scholars to make the correct chooses for their questions.

Example

  • 1st: whats your involved variables?
  • 2nd: (get the variables) -> normality test: what test do you choose? (a) Test A - good for this, not for that. (b) Test B - good for this, not for that.
  • 3rd: (get normality test result) -> (get kind of involved variable) -> Are them dependent? Dependences occur when...
  • 4th: (get the number of variables) -> what test do you choose? (a) Test A - good for this, not for that. (b) Test B - good for this, not for that.
  • 5th: (get the chosen test) -> (get the variables data) -> open the test type with some parameters already filled and the main numbers highlighted.

(an information designer structuring the results screen would be nice)
