"Failed to check for update"
Hi there,
Since I installed the latest version of OS, I get this "failed to check for update" message and the Help menu remains stuck to "Please wait...":
I'm using the latest version of OS (megapack). Tried reinstalling it, installing the standard version instead (i.e., not the megapack), and tried it from two different PCs, and disabling the real time scanning of my anti-virus software. The issue remains.
Thought I'd share it in case someone has a suggestion or a fix for this. Don't know whether this is related but OS gets quite slow and unresponsive after a while.
