Missing data from participants (Duration = "Not yet"; State = "Data_retrieved"). Jatos 3.5.11

Hi all!

I am having problems with the results from some of the participants of my experiments in Jatos. Particularly, in the last part of my study, which is a survey, with some participants I don't get any data and it only appears a "none". The status of these survey answers is "Data_retrieved" and the duration "Not yet". It seems however that the participants have finished the experiments and have actually finished the survey since they have been sending us emails regarding the amount of the payment we owe them, which is information that is only available for us and them at the end of this survey segment.

After looking at previously recorded answers, I noticed that something similar had happened before. But in those cases for some reason two Final Survey parts appear, one without information ("none") and a second Final Survey segment with the actual information with an status saying "Reloaded".

Any idea of what might be going on? (i.e.: why can we not see the data from our participant's survey if they had complete it). Can we get this data back? Is it possible to prevent it in the future?

Hi Patricia,

it's difficult to say what happened in those cases. It looks like the study jumped forward without being able to send the result data at all. Let me ask a couple questions:

• What JATOS version do you use?
• How do you send the result data in component 'Final Survey'. What's the JavaScript code?
• How do you show this information about the amount of the payment you owe your participants? Is it another JATOS component, or some external website you redirect to, or just some last part of the 'Final Survey' component?
