[solved] Priming image on OpenSesame

edited February 2014 in OpenSesame

Hi,

I can not build my experience

I would like to have:

  • A fixation cross,
  • An image as priming, which is either to the right or left.
But this picture would be different each time.

  • Then the target images that subjects must judge

How can I do to put the priming image? How to position the image on either the right or left? And it can change (associated with the picture below)?

Thank you very much

:)

François

    Hi Francois,

The experiment you describe is easily implemented with a bit of knowledge of how OpenSesame works. I'd suggest reading up and getting to know the program by doing one (or more) of the tutorials.

In general: you can use a sketchpad to present images at a location of your choice, and variables (defined in a loop) are often used to define file names (e.g. for the images) and locations.

If after the tutorials you still have questions (which i doubt), you're very welcome to post those of course! :)

    Good luck!
