Non-normal data: Bayesian Reapeated Measures (JASP)?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to a Bayesian RM Anova in Jasp but I realized that my data is not normally distributed. I am wondering whether it is still possible to do a Bayesian Repeated Measures in Jasp then since I am having a small sample (n=24). I have found Freidmans test as an alternative for the frequentists RM Anova, but I am not sure how to proceed now regarding Bayesian RM. Is there any way I can still do Bayesian RM or is there an alternative analysis? I hope someone of you can help me out!

Many thanks in advance and best wishes,

Soph

  • If you are really worried about this you could transform your data to normality and see whether it matters.
