Interpreting output of classical Log-linear regression in JASP

Hi,

I am looking for some support materials to help interpret the output of JASP's classical Log-linear regression.

Thanks in advance.

  • Dear @mmm,

The data library contains a "Dancing Cats and Dogs" file that reanalyses this example from Andy Field's popular statistical textbook, and shows how to conduct a log-linear regression in JASP.

Unfortunately, we do not have any other materials specific to log-linear regression, but thanks to your question, we will look into it.

However, the output of the analysis is fairly similar to other statistical programmes (e.g., SPSS) for which there should be plenty of materials on the internet (search for "log-linear analysis for categorical data" and similar terms), which should be directly translatable into the context of JASP.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have specific questions about the analysis.

    Kind regards,

    Simon

  • Dear Simon @Kucharssim,

Thank you, the Data library example is exactly what was needed.
