I am working on a self-paced reading task.

I am studying Open Sesame and Python and now I am trying to set up a self-paced reading experiment.

My professor already offered me basic script for the experiment but I am struggling.

I would like my sentences to look like :

The ... .... ...... ... ... .... ...... ... ... .

The dog .... ...... ... ... .... ...... .... ... .

The dog that ...... ... ... .... ........ ... ... .

The dog that chased ... ... .... ....... ... ... .

The dog that chased the ... .... ...... ... ... .

The dog that chased the cat .... ....... ... ... .

The dog that chased the cat that ....... ... ... .

The dog that chased the cat that chased ... ... .

The dog that chased the cat that chased the ... .

The dog that chased the cat that chased the rat .

The current script is like this :

And, I also have one more sequence containing one line of script :

var.target = target_sentences_list.pop()

The results for these scripts are different from what I want.

My professor said that all I need to do is just adding 4 elements to this script and I will have cumulative sentences like above.

Can anyone have a clue about this?

Please help me!
