Feedback and correct response
in OpenSesame
Hello to all of you,
I am creating an implicit association test (IAT).
In the sequence "words_trial"(pic1), I have created a sketchpad "words_false" (pic2)which gives feedback when a wrong answer has been pressed on the keyboard.
I would like to allow after this feedback only the right answer, by "blocking" the other keys on the keyboard, thus allowing only the key corresponding to the right answer.
I am adding pictures to make my concern better understood...
I thank you and wish you a good evening.
After this one, i want autorise only the key "e" and disable all the others :)

Hi Snap,
in this case, you should set the duration of words_faux_2 to 0, and add a keyboard response afterwards, in which you set the allowed response to
e.If you still want to log the response from the original (faulty) response, you need to shift your logger up, before the feedback sketchpad (otherwise the response would be overwritten).
Does this solve your problem?

Hi Eduard,
Thanks for your answer.
Thanks to your information, I created a "new keyboard" item with the duration at 0 and run if [correct]=0, allowing only [correct_response] as valid answers.
This allows you to stay stuck on the screen until the correct answer has been pressed.
Many thanks to you.
