Sound recorder plugin for Mac computers??

Hi,

I've tried to download and get the sound recorder plugin to work on my computer (a Mac) for a test, but whatever I did, I could not make it work. Then I read on this side https://kvonholzen.github.io/Tutorials_Open_Sesame_Word_Spotting.html that the plugin does not work for Macs, which I guess would explain everything, but is there really nothing to do about this?
