JATOS not starting up

Hi All,

not sure this is the right venute to ask this question but I might as well try. I have recently started collecting data on a JATOS server of an affiliated university. After the issue that azure/microsoft had a few days ago, the server/website I has running my experiment on will not start up. The It technicians are trying to get it ot start up, but has been an unsuccessful 24 hours.

The error messages they are getting are

  • Container uit-jatos-test_0_01b087a4 for site uit-jatos-test did not start within expected time limit.
  • Container uit-jatos-test_0_01b087a4 didn't respond to HTTP pings on port: 9000, failing site start

Has anyone had experience with such messages or a fail to start without a particular reason?

    I've never seen this error message before, but I can tell that it doesn't come from JATOS (I know all it's error messages) and it probably (like you guessed) originates from Azure. I'm not familiar with containers in Azure, do you have a way to log in there and check what's going on inside?

    No, I do not but the IT people of the university are on it. But what I gather from my discussion with them it will not start up with no apparent reason. There was also this message that they told me about, but it does not seem different form the others.

    The issue started at 18UTC on the 24.01, which i guess coincided with the global issues microsoft was having. But these issues were resolved and this server will simply not start up. That is the explanation I got.

    I am aware that this is very little info to go on with, and was not really hopeful to get an answer. But I am also wondering if anyone else has been experiencing these problems after the isseuse form two days ago.
