task freeze
in OpenSesame
Hello,
We have created two tasks on opensesam. Then we copied them on different PC in order to make several parallel assignments. These 2 tasks are randomized (some participants pass task A then task B, the others task B then task A). We use the last version without installation.
Our tasks sometimes (not always) freeze, opensesam freezes and we have to interrupt the task. It appears more in one order than the other. It seems that there is a "cache" problem.
Have you encountered similar failures?

Hi Elodie,
Please provide more info on the experiment. What stimuli are you using? How many? What do participants need to do? Does it freeze (when it does) always around the same time? The same event on the screen? If you take one of the tasks entirely out of the experiments, does it still occur? You could also share your experiment here.
