JATOS and PsychoJS

Dear all,

As far as I know, it is possible to run experiments created using PsychoJS on JATOS. Is that surely true? If so, why is there no mention of PsychoJS in the documentation at https://www.jatos.org/?

Thank you for your reply,

Marko

  • Hi Marko,

I don't know PsychoJS well. I do know that the natural server-side tool for it is Pavlovia, so some functions might need tweaking to adapt a script and send data to a JATOS server. But yes, in principle it should be possible

There is no specific reason, just lack of time. If you know how to do it, please do contribute to the docs! :)

    Hi Elisa,

Ok. But, when someone does not want to use Pavlovia (from various of reasons), but to use their own server to upload and run PsychoPy or PsychoJS experiments over the web, then JATOS is a simple option. I'm currently in that phase, so when I'm done with all the phases of an experiment, I'll share my experiences here.

    Greeting,

    Marko

  • Hi Marko,

I always wanted to do it for PsychoPy but never had the time. I'm sure it will work but might need some tweaking. I'm looking forward to your experience sharing.

    Best,

    Kristian
