Using OpenSesame on Android Tablets in 2023

Hello Together,

Im currently assisting a research project that worked in the previous years via OpenSesame on tablets to collect data in primary schools. (Offline)

Im new into this and wanted to ask if its still possible in some way to use OpenSesame on Tablets or if you have other suggestions what programms could be used.

The demands would be: showing pictures & videos, fill-out questionairs & store the data local on the tablet

In a nutshell, the runtime version for Android is no longer supported, but a possibole alternative is to use OSWeb 2.0 (see https://forum.cogsci.nl/discussion/8634/opensesame-android-runtime). Depending on the specifics of your task, it may or may not offer a solution.
