jspsych6.0.5 (older jsPsych version) Experiment running with JATOS
Dear Jatos-Team
I am already trying in vain to host an already programmed experiment online. Hosting via Pavlovia for example didn't work because the JsPsych file doesn't match the current version of JsPsych. Reprogramming an experiment programmed in JsPsych6.0.5 to the latest version JsPsych7.3 is unfortunately far beyond my competence.
Your platform Jatos gives me hope that I can nonetheless run the experiment online.
It is the STOP-IT task from Verbruggen (2019): https://github.com/fredvbrug/STOP-IT
The experiment works fine locally.
Now I have downloaded JATOS.
I probably still have to adapt the html file. Unfortunately, on your website (https://www.jatos.org/jsPsych-and-JATOS.html) I can only find instructions how to convert jsPsych7 into a Jatos study.
However, it says: "Every jsPsych version works slightly different. Here we explain the steps for jsPsych 7 (for older versions have a look here)." When I click on "here" an error message appears.
Is there still the possibility to run the experiment - although it is an older version of jsPsych (jsPsych6.0.5) - via JATOS and if so, is there still a manual available, how I have to adapt the original html-file?
Thanks a lot and best regards
Hannah

Hi Hannah,
Oh, it's good to know that that link in the docs is broken. We'll fix it. In the meantime, check whether the information in this page helps: https://www.jatos.org/3.6.x/jsPsych-and-JATOS.html
(you can access old versions of the JATOS docs by choosing the version on the upper-right corner)
Best
