the "standard" method in mediation analysis
Hello JASP team,
I used the "standard" mediation method in JASP to assess the mediating effect of a variable on the relationship between two continuous variables in my research. I incorporated two confounding factors, age and gender, into the analysis.
Could you please provide me with more detailed information about the "standard" mediation method as implemented in JASP?
Probably the statistical techniques and procedures that JASP employs when conducting mediation analysis using this method "standard". Any guidance, documentation, or references would be greatly appreciated.

The method is the so-called "product of coefficients" approach: https://psycnet.apa.org/fulltext/2002-00925-005.pdf
