Error opening CSV file
Hello, I'm unable to import a CSV file in JASP, cryptic error message:
Is there a limit on the number of columns (mine has 1200, this mentions column 1000 and "too many columns")? Is it one of the few text variables that causes problems somehow?
The format is comma-separated, with double quotes for text (i.e. quite standard for a CSV file). I can't share the data unfortunately.

Wow, I imported a CSV file with 1000 columns it failed (same error), I imported a CSV file with 999 columns and it imported correctly...
Why is there a 1,000-column limit, is this by design or is this a bug? Does it do this for any types of imports or only CSV files?

This was addressed on GitHub, I believe? I saw Bruno respond....
I don't see it in the issues... Do you still have the link? Otherwise I can make another issue... But is this supposed to happen or not? Seems odd to limit the number of columns (to 1000 anyway)
