Pupillometry experiment using Tobii eye-tracker in OpenSesame (module not found)
Hi all,
I have a pre-existing experiment in OpenSesame. I want to add pupilometry measures to certain trials to gauge cognitive effort.
I have a Tobii Pro X3-120 Eyetracker. I have just tried testing out the eye-tracker and I am having trouble with using the tobii_research package. I have created a pygaze_init item in which I have set the tracker type as 'Tobii' and the following error is produced:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'tobii_research'
- Does anyone have any pointers for fixing this issue with the latest version of OpenSesame?
- Has anyone got an example task in which they have used a Tobii eye-tracker in OpenSesame to record pupillometry data? IOknow this s is a long shot but it would really help me as I have little experience working with Tobii eye-trackers and this would really help me get started.
Thanks!
Matthew
P.S. My boss has lent me a task in which they used Open Sesame with the exact same Tobii eyetracker but this task is from 2017 but the task seems to just skip the eye-tracking code and go straight to the next section of the task with no errors. I have attached the file here. If anyone knows why that is happening it could help with the above issues. Sorry for the complicated request!
