JASP 18.2. crashes with old dataset
Hi folks,
after installing the latest version - on Mac and on Win - the program keeps crashing when loading a file that was saved with 18.1.. I already deleted the analyses, to have the data only, but this doesn't resolve the problem. Any ideas what the reason could be - the reason must be the dataset I guess? I'd really like to use the Process module, so when there's a chance to get it running I'd be grateful.

Are you able to share your original file (which contains your data)?
I personally don't know what the problem could be without additional info, I haven't had problems opening 18.1 files in 18.2 (I'm using Windows)

I'm fixing the calculated variables now - for some reason JASP is having trouble with the calculations, sometimes it helps just to press "calculate" again, but now it seems the calculations have to be set up from scratch as the formula entry area does not show up (as if it isn't recognized as a calculated variable at all).

Solved after fixing damaged variable calculations!
Now that you mention it, I'm definitely having the same problem with a big file (a lot of computed vars and a lot of analyses) produced with version 18.0.. just loads indefinitely in 18.2, never opens. Oops :|
Please post it on GitHub for the team to fix!
