CFA - Confirmatory Factor Analysis: how many rows and columns of data are needed?

Hello, I try to learn to use the Confirmatory Factor Analysis in JASP. I do not understand the requirements of the dataset. The examples in JASP work fine, but I have a smaller dataset. My dataset has 8 values in three columns. JASP can not execute my data. It gives the message "The model could not be estimated. Ensure that factors have at least 2 observed variables". I increased the number of rows and columns (with imaginary values). This did not work. What is the number of rows and the number of columns needed to do confirmatory factor analysis?

  • Could you provide the data? (or fake data with the same structure?)
