Error on CFA
Hello, I need your help.
I get the error messages when I try to run CFA. I chose the ML as the estimator, but the message “FIML missing data handling only available with ML-type estimators” appears. If I selected another method of “Missing data handling,” another message “The model could not be estimated. Error message: lavaan->ldw_parse_step1(): unexpected character at line 2, pos 1…” appears.
When I use the sample data for CFA from a Japanese textbook of JASP, the first error message appears again…
Please help me to conduct the CFA…! My PC is a Mac, and the JASP version is 0.19.1 (apple Silicon).

That's because your variables are set as ordinal rather than scale, you can change this in the data panel (leftmost panel) by clicking the variables' icon:
