JASP Rename Variables

Hello, I am running JASP on a Mac with an M1 chip. I am unable to rename variables/relabel them. I have tried to redownload the software and using other data sets and nothing has worked. Please Help!!

    So you have double-clicked on the variable name? (on top of the column) A screenshot could help...

    I have double-clicked, and it won't open the dropdown to relabel it.
