Recoding a string variable?
Hi JASP friends,
I love JASP😍, but I hate coding😢.
Could someone please help me by explaining, in a clear and pedagogical way, how to recode a string variable into a numeric variable? I need to do this in order to run a point-biserial correlation.

I think if you just change the "Value" entries manually to 0 and 1 instead of Male and Female, it might work
