Urgent: Unable to install JASP on macOS Monterey (Intel Mac)
Hi,
I urgently need JASP for a university course, but I have not been able to install it despite trying multiple methods.
My setup:
- MacBook Air (2017)
- macOS Monterey 12.7.6
- Intel Core i5 (x86_64)
What I’ve tried so far:
- Official download from jasp-stats.org
- Older versions (September 2024)
- Different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox)
- VPN on/off, firewall off, mobile hotspot
- Direct GitHub release download
- Homebrew installation (brew install --cask jasp) — fails because the download never completes
Every attempt either times out or throws a “server error” message.
I am on a strict deadline for a case analysis and must use JASP only.
Is there an alternative mirror link or any known workaround for Intel Macs on Monterey?
