Problem with Hebrew output
in OpenSesame
Hi,
I used a text_input form so my participants will be able to write their response in Hebrew.
I set the font to Hebrew and used the Bi-directional support in the main experiment.
In the text_input I chose a font that supports Hebrew (I tried "Aharoni", "Ariel" and "Alef").
However, in the .csv output I get Gibberish instead of the response.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks,
Keren

Hi Keren,
If you open the data file, you need to indicate that the character encoding is utf-8. If a different character encoding is used, you get jibberish—as you experienced. You can read more about this here:
How exactly you do this depends on the software that you use. But it's always possible!
Hope this helps!
