[open] Upload an experiment on my website

edited January 2013 in OpenSesame

I'm a master student of Linguistics and web Technology. As a term project I'm currently working on a website with linguistic experiments and I'm wondering if I could export an experiment developed by me with OpenSesame into this webpage. What I'm worried about is if people not having this program installed on their computers are still able to see the experiment online!
Thanks for your help

That depends on what you mean by 'exporting'. You will not be able to export an OpenSesame experiment to something that users can do within a browser on your website. But it's also not necessary for the users to have OpenSesame pre-installed. You could bundle OpenSesame with your experiment, and include a Batch file (on Windows) that users can click on to start the experiment automatically. That way users can download a .zip file and run the experiment with a minimum of fuzz. Would that be an option?

Well unfortunately downloading zipped files would not be a helpful option!
What I really need it to look like is something like experiments on http://www.cogsci.nl/experiments !
Having working experiments on the web page makes me think it's possible to do it without downloading files n so!
Can you help me make it work like that?
    Thanks in advance

Right, I understand the confusion. These online experiments have not been created with OpenSesame, but manually coded with Javscript/ HTML. You are welcome to download the source code for these experiments (link), but I'm afraid you will find that it takes considerable knowledge of these languages to implement your own experiments.

:( well I'm not sure if I've got enough time to code the whole experiment from scratch! Do you know any program with which I can do it? One like OpenSesame but capable of being implemented in a website?

This is a frequently asked question, but I'm afraid the options are fairly limited. Please see this post for some links that might be useful.

    Good luck!
