How to create a pop up boxes around an image
I have a query relating to my experiment.
I would like to know how to create pop up boxes around an image (my distracter task around the stimulus in the center).
The participant will see an image in the center of the screen and then 3boxes will appear randomly around the image. The participant has to click the key when he or she sees a particular coloured box pop up.

In principle, it sounds like you can just use a sequence of two
sketchpads: one with only the image, followed by one with the image and three boxes around it. And then you can use amouse_responseto collect the click.You might want to take a look at this tutorial, which also uses mouse clicks by way of response:
