Problem with opensesame

Hello,

I am trying to built an experiment. I have created a loop which works how it is supposed to. I copied and pasted the same loop (loop 2). The only difference with loop1 is that it has a different variable value. Although loop1 works pretty well, loop2 does not do what it is supposed to. It enters the loop but it is not functioning. How can I solve this issue?

It could be great if you could help me with this situation, thank you..😊

  • Hi GoSugar,

You'll have to be much more specific! ? In what sense doesn't loop2 work as you would like it to? Uploading the script, or describing how you've set up the experiment, would also be helpful.

  • Hello again,

To be more precise, I copied an unlinked version of a loop. This loop takes an image and enlarges it with a key press. Although the original version works perfectly, the unlinked copied version does not work. Whenever I press the key, it does not function what it is supposed to do (enlarging the image). However, I can see the image. What can be the problem for this? Everything is exactly the same as the original one.

I hope I explained my problem clearly.

    Thank you.?

  • Hi GoSugar,

Better, but still not enough. How did you implement it? Could you share the experiment? If the loops are identical, but behave differently, then the only difference can be variables that the loops use and change their values in the transition from one to the other. (alternatively, your loops are actually not as identical as you thought).

  • Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. I had some hardware problems. I solved the issue, thanks for the help. As you said, the copied loops are not exactly identical. Thank you again. 😊
