Hi,
I and my colleague have encountered an error “file_x.jpg does not exist” and despite no typos in picture names and doing everything based on the video tutorial, we can’t run it without error.
I send you a screenshot of the error prompt. Can you help us?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Sebastiaan,
Unfortunately, both issues you bring up are not the case here. There is no difference in capitalization and files are included in the file pool. Problems appear not only in JATOS but also when we use option ‘Test experiment in external browser’.
Can I ask you to look into our experiment? I attach it to this post. If you have a moment we will be very grateful. (the file we are working on is just2.osexp)
Cheers!

Hi Michal,
For me, everything runs fine. Why don't you first update OSWeb and see if this resolves the issue? (The latest version is 1.3.5, and it contains some bugfixes.) The easiest way to do that is to grab the latest 3.3 prerelease of OpenSesame:

Hi Sebastiaan,
How long have you tried to run the experiment? We fund out that it crashes after the different number of stimuli. Unfortunately upgrading to the latest version of OSWeb didn’t help either.
Cheers!

Hi Michal,
I see, it actually does crash at some point, but indeed on files that don't exist. For example, it's looking for
U2-1ab.jpg, but the file pool only containsU2-1ba.jpg. So it's a matter of carefully going through the file names! (There may be other problems too of course, but this is at least one of them.)Cheers!
