[solved] show sketchpad for set time even if response is made

edited April 2013 in OpenSesame

Hello,

I am making an fMRI experiment where I need to have trials last a set amount of time. The problem is, when a response is made, it advances to the next trial. The subjects will be responding in the scanner with a trackball or joystick, but I am making the experiment using the mouse response. How do I do the following?:

-Answer choice sketchpad is shown for 3000ms

Bonus (if this is incredibly difficult to accomplish, I may just explain to the subject that the answer choices will remain on the screen even after they have made a response):

-If a response is made, the cursor disappears for the remaining time (or something to indicate to the subject that their response was recorded without significantly changing the image on the screen...)

Thanks so much!

Disregard this, I moved the advanced delay to a different location and it is working as expected now, the cursor even disappears when a response is made. Sorry about that.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem but from this description I din't unedrstand how it has been solved.
Can anyone explain whtat does it means "I moved the advanced delay to a different location"?

    Thanks!

ps: to better explain my problem I've just opened a new discussion here.
