Response Time Calculations
I have this question I am trying to answer however I don't understand what the new keyboard response times would be in this question?
"Assume we modified a lexical decision task in the following two ways:
a) The duration of the “stimulus” sketchpad element is set to 1000
b) The duration of the keyboard response element set to 1000
Given these changes, determine the behaviour of the experiment for a trial in which the participant presses the keyboard at each of these three timings: 500, 1500, and 2500 ms after the presentation of the stimulus. Be sure to include what the keyboard response time will be for each and whether the responses would be labelled as correct or incorrect."
Would appreciate any insight into this!
