Specifying allowed responses has no effect in OSWeb 1.3.11
Hi all,
I am not sure if I'm the only one facing this issue but specifying allowed responses in a keyboard response item has no effect at all when running an experiment on a browser. Reinstalling the OpenSesame or switching browsers didn't work. It doesn't prompt any error however you can use any key to proceed. I know that it was working perfect before I updated to OSWeb 1.3.11. I also checked this with a friend who uses Windows and OSWeb 1.3.9, and it still works just fine for her. My operating system is macOS 10.15.6 by the way.
Any ideas, or anyone else having the same issue?

I vaguely remember this bug was reported a few versions ago. But not sure whether it was fixed. Does that sound familiar @sebastiaan?

Thanks for reporting this. This is indeed a regression in OSWeb 1.3.11. I filed a bug report here, and it should be fixed in 1.3.12.

I'm running into the same issue, but I don't see a download to 1.3.12 anywhere.
Am I missing something, or is there maybe a work-around method I could use to circumvent the problem?

1.3.12 has not been released yet. Not sure when this will be the case. You could use an older version of Osweb, e.g. 1.3.10 or perhaps 1.3.9 for now.

@tong I'm building the packages for OpenSesame 3.3.7 right now. This also includes the update to OSWeb. We'll probably publish them tomorrow.
