Let me add: we found the Android run only software. Yet, it seems it is not being updated anymore by the producer (so not on google play anymore) and it has some issues (it freezes and stops quite often). Also, I noticed that the option droid backend in the last version of opensesame is not there anymore, correct?
Any ideas on how to run them on tablets? I know of the online option through Jatos and maybe that is our best scenario...

That's exactly it. The droid backend and android-based Opensesame is currently not developed anymore. am not sure which version of OS was the last one that worked with the droid backend, perhaps around 3.1?
Anyway, to use the droid backend, you need an old tablet with old version of OS, or you take on the challenge and try to fix all of the issues that were introduced over the course of the last years. The best option though would indeed be programming your experiment in OSweb and distribute it via Jatos.
Note, if you could arrange that your team will use windows based tablets, you can use regular opensesame and run it on them tablets no problem. But yeah, if you can't afford buying a new set of tablets that is probably not going to be an option.

A related question. Since this experiment will be analysed with other data collected on SurveyCTO, I want participants to enter their Unique identifier (ID) on Jatos or OpenSesame. Is there an option to do that on OpenSesame (text enter by participant).
