bug?

I am using the version of 1.3.12.1. I encounter a problem.

at the begin of experiment, I wans to collect the information of ID, age, gender and domain hand.

Like this.

But when I run in open_sesame, the ger_age didn't show.

When I run it in OBWEB, only the get_ID show.

If anyone know why this happen and how and I fix this problem. Thanks very much. the attachment is this file.

  • Also, if I change the ordet into ID, gender, age, hand. it can work appropriately in open-sesame but still not work in Obweb.

  • Hi @tong ,

This was indeed a bug (see this post) but should be solved if you upgrade to 1.3.13:

    Does that solve the issue?

Hi, thank you for replay. I download the 1.3.13 version. the problem is partially resolved, that is, now the open-sesame and Osweb is the same.

But when I put two loop together (get age and get ID), it still only show the first one. but when they are separated by get_gender, all of them could normally show.

  • Hi @tong ,

Sorry for the late reply, but herewith my response:

    • When the break-if statement in the first loop item ("get_ID") is met, this means that participants pressed "enter"
    • Therefore, the value of the variable "response" is, at that moment, set to "enter"
    • And since "enter" is also the breaking value for the second loop ("get_age"), OpenSesame immediately breaks from this second block

As a solution, reset the variable "response" right after the first block, for example like so:

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
