Problem with OpenSesame

Hello,

I have just updated OpenSesame to the latest version. Although my experiment worked perfectly with the previous version, it does not work with this one. Is it possible to download the older versions again? I want to download the older version, where can I find and download the older versions?

Thank you. 🤠

  • Hi @GoSugar ,

I'm sorry to hear. Regarding using the previous version of OpenSesame, I'm sure @sebastiaan can tell you how to do that. But wouldn't it be better to see what's going the issue with the current version and try to solve it? Could you upload your experiment here and post the error message that you receive?

    Cheers,

  • Hi @GoSugar ,

You can download older versions of OpenSesame as described here:

However, I second @lvanderlinden 's suggestion to first see if you can fix the experiment so that it works with the latest version! What version of OpenSesame did you use to develop the experiment?

  • Hello @sebastiaan and @lvanderlinden ,

Thank you so much. I was using the version of January 2020 ( I don't which one that blongs). I am happy that I am able to download the early versions too.

I figured out the problem. It is with the print command. Although print command does not require paranthesis in the earlier version (print var.x), it requires the paranthesis while printing the variables (print (var.x)). Thank you for all the help.
