[solved] I can not see the icons in the Overview

edited August 2013 in OpenSesame

Hi

I can not see the icons in the Overview, I just can see the icon of OpenSesame and the icon of unused items. This is weird because the first time I used the software I saw them perfectly. The second time I opened the software, they disapeared. I decided to uninstall the software and istall it again, but this did not work. I can use OpenSEsame without seeing the icons, but is quite confusing.

How can I solve the problem?

Thank you!

    Hi Ciria,

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem, i.e. which icons are missing. Do you receive an error message of some sort? If so, could you please post it?

    • Has the entire overview area disappeared? If so, please see this comment: http://www.cogsci.nl/software/opensesame#comment-384578505
    • Or perhaps no entry point has been specified for the experiment. You can do this under 'Entry point' in the general tab.
    • Or perhaps you mean that the item toolbar has disappeared? In that case, you can right click on/ around the menu and activate it again.

Please let me know if none of these tips work for you!

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

    Hi Sebastiaan,
I have kind of the same problem. Open Sesame worked well, when i hat do give one monitor away, (so I switched from multiple screens to one screen) the icons in the mail toolbar disappeared as well as the commonly used icons. I use windows 7 x32.

I guess it has something to do with the monitors.....
