keyboard response in the Gaze Cueing Tutorial
Hello, I'm brand new to OpenSesame and this forum. I completed the Gaze Cueing Tutorial exactly as the instructions describe and it runs ok, except the keyoard_response object doesn't seem to work right. In this experiment, the participant is supposed to respond to the target by pressing 'z' or 'm'. If I press either letter twice in quick succession my second response is collected (with a super short RT because I just double-tapped). But surely that isn't what the designers of the tutorial intended? If I only press the response key only once, no response is recorded and the trial times out with the 'incorrect_sound' playing.
Can anyone explain what's going on? Is there an easy fix or do I really have to create my own custom inline structure (I can can program a little but don't know Python) just to record keyboard response times properly?
